International Theatre Workshop in Tuscany, Italy

will become the artistic epicentre for performers from all over the world inspired by Physical Theatre contemporary performance practice.
Experienced dancers, performers of physical theatre, contemporary circus performers and choreographers with professional stage experience from various techniques and styles are welcome to join the “living stage” where from simple to compound they will build up images and various modules from structures to performance fragments. Participants will research the connection between dance, movement and voice, word and physical action, explore physicality as the key to form, style, atmosphere and emotional color in performance. As the result, intangible moments become tangible; atmosphere and style are born inseparably from creative process. The key towards unfolding the actor’s creative nature underlies in the body. Atmosphere in creative process, performer’s relationship with artistic space, freedom in improvisation and spontaneity…
The Lab has strong connections and collaborators and will help participants to open doors to new collaboration possibilities.
The group will meet at the centre located on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in the Province of Massa and Carrara in Tuscany.
Hotel accommodation and three meals per day are organized for participants.

Workshop schedule will be intensive:
May 16th: 
From 14:00 - Group arrival & check-in.
17:00 - Short tour around the venue and territory.
17:30-18:30 - First group meeting and introduction.
19:00-20:00 - Dinner
May 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd:
7:00-8:00 - Warm-Up.
8:00-9:00 - Breakfast.
10:00-12:30 - Practical training.
|12:30-14:00 - Lunch
14:00-18:30 - Practical training.
19:00-20:00 - Dinner

May 24th: 
7:30-9:00 - Breakfast
9:00 - Check-out & departure.
