Taking into consideration the quality of this year’s productions, that is questions related to aesthetics, directing, acting and other performative codes, as well as their representative variety, with some special emphasis on the work and research of younger artists, the appointed Critics’ Committee chose a total of 20 performances to be presented in this year’s showcase.

Moreover the committee taking under consideration the fact that for unexpected reasons there might be a chance some of the chosen performances not to be able to be represented during Athens System, suggests a biggest number of performances including in the list also the runner-ups.

The Committee believes that it wouldn’t be artistically correct not to include in the final list remarkable performances which have not yet define if they can be represented at Athens System due to technical difficulties. The performances suggested are the following (alphabetically):
